So sorry, but this fixture cannot be installed on a sloped ceiling because the extremely delicate pieces of glass diffuser are safest and best-protected when oriented against a firm, flat, and stable plane.

This description says that the "diffuser" is 78 inches high. I need the dimensions of the chandelier itself. The minimum drop height this can have from ceiling to the bottom of the fixture is 78 inches, and the maximum is 92-1/8. The actual dimensions of the chandelier/diffuser are .37-3/4 inches wide (diameter) and 23-2/3 inches tall. I would love to hang this over my dining room table.  My ceiling height is 10'.  Can I shorten the drop on this fixture?  78" is way too long .We seem to be missing the height of the diffuser, thank you for bringing this to our attention. We will update our site soon with the full dimensions of this. In the meantime, the pendant/diffuser actually measures 23.6 inches high and 37.7 inches wide. You certainly can adjust the cord in the field to suit the needs of your space.

How close to the ceiling can this chandelier hang?This measures 37.75"W X 23.6"H and the shortest you can hang this is with an overall drop of 24 inches. In the photo it looks like it's red with white? This is red on the outside and white on the inside (side that faces the bulb) to maintain clear direct illumination as well as beautifully diffused light through the red. I have a very hight ceiling and would like to hang this lower than the wiring allows. Is it possible to rewire this?
