Mark made the tour so interesting by explaining all about Ostriches in a way that was informative but also hilarious. We even rode an Ostrich which is not as crazy as it sounds as they were originally used as transport when introduced. There were also two very tame giraffes that... Another care center for animals. The almost tame animals are so used to human touch that they almost pose for photographs. We were lucky to sight a Secretary bird and the Martian eagle It deserves a stop and a couple of Hours spent here, with Mark and his team introducing you to the life in a Real farm. Your kids will enjoy a lot! Very nice place, quiet and small family run business. Free inclusive game drive early morning and ostrich farm. Most lovely baby giraffes made this stay complete!

Not very happy with the experience as the farm was about to close so we could not explore much of it. Mark is a great tour guide! He covers a variety of ostrich related topics and presents it in an interesting and entertaining way. The ostrich ride was so much fun! Enjoyed every bit of our stay here! Feels so in touch with nature. The tents are beautifully set to provide privacy for every occupant. Would definitely come back Great experience, Mark, the guide was excellent and provided the right mix of factual information and humour. Bonus to see the giraffes being fed. All round a very educational and fun tour. Would recommend to anyone. This is not the 4* that I am used to. Normally a 4* rating means impressive. This was not the case. We stayed in the dreamhouse. Its not dirty or discusting, its just the basic 3*. If you pay for 4* then you ecpect 4* Paying extra for a working tv No wifi as advertised I have never been so disappointed in my life.

After a long drive and freezing misty weather all we needed was a cup of coffee.

Very nice place and very nice people.

The game drive in the morning was amazing we saw zebra's, giraffe's and many others. The food and tents are very good! We also booked a ostrich tour. We loved our stay at the Chandelier. We stayed at the dream house (R1950 per night) for 2 days. Very little care is taken at Chandelier. Below is a list of things which went/were wrong. 1) The house got smoked out when we used the indoor fire place, and the next day someone told us to make a smaller fire! The smoke was so bad, we had... Liked:Welcome drink, location of braai and early morning game drive included ! Needs attention:The self catering unit we had needs more attention to detail. Bunk bed needs a safety rail. No offer for alternative shower in morning as our geyser did not work. The rustic log cabin is a friendly place. You notice this most at night when it chats to you. We thought there was someone walking about inside but it was just the cabin creaking in the cold. We were snug inside and a morning game drive was good incentive to get us out of bed.

Fabulous breakfasts, wonderful fireplace in... We spent just a day at the Chandelier but what an experience! The staff were extremely friendly and this made our stay all the more enjoyable. We stayed in the Dream House, which is exactly as described. Completely on your own, well away from the main accommodation with a jacuzzi on the porch and a sky full of stars what... Great stay - super comfortable tent, very luxurious (thanks Gerrie for the upgrade!) Really magic being woken up by the birds before spending our great breakfast with Shorty and Sheila (no spoilers). Our stay at the Chandelier Game Park and Ostrich Show Farm was a first for myself/my family and is one I will not forget in a hurry. When booking this trip our Aunt (A South African) was keen to book a venue which offered as much as an authentic South African experience (that was safe for three small children) as... A very nice bush experience that had a lot to offer at an affordable price. Great comfortable tents(with wi-fi) with good beds.
