You would know if you were standing next to someone who had gone to town with it.It has soft oriental accents and a strong floral heart, but I detect a slight whiff of perm lotion, conjuring up images of old ladies at the hairdresser's, which kills its charm for me.Givenchy Absolutely Irresistible, £32.50 (100ml): This is a scent with ideas above its station.I'm certain that whoever made it took their inspiration from a perfume of another era in the hope it would acquire an air of old-fashioned elegance.As a sweet floral harmony, its impression is rather refined and grown-up.I expect it is good value for money because it would last a long time on the skin. Few women would object if they were sprayed with this in a department store.It is a well-balanced floral perfume with woody and vanilla accents.There is a strong theme of lily-of-the-valley, which makes it light, clean and wearable.: The woman who has everything. It becomes very intense.It is a good blend of citrus and woody notes, with a spicy harmony. It's well put together, but I would warn that it should be used in moderation.One too many squirts could knock out everyone you meet.Although it doesn't stray too far from a classic cologne, it is not one for shrinking violets.: Mmm, delightfully fresh with a classic citrussy structure.
