Parin YLighting Customer Service I would like to order the Mod 2097.  What factors do I use to decide if I should get the 30" or 50" diameter?  It is going in a dining room.   Hi there, nice choice this chandelier is a customer favorite. In terms of ease of installation, both versions of this fixture will be identical in canopy size and junction box requirements.
That said, just because the 50" is larger, it will not require special modification of your ceiling to accommodate the size. Other than that, it really depends on how much of a commanding impression you want the fixture to make in your dining area, and how much light you would like it to give off. The 50" will naturally produce more light than the smaller 30", so if the fixture is going to be standing on its own with no supplementary light sources around the room, that is something to take into consideration so that your diners have enough light.
