Stayed here for a two night stay with a lot of family members ...as always we had a marvellous time & Marian went above and beyond to ensure that all went well as usual when there's so many in our group ...looking forward to another visit soon Very good weekend at Treacy's, excellent location and easy to find. Only fault I could give is the lack of car park on site but the car park location at Aldi is nearby and cost was covered by Hotel. Rooms were excellent and for group were very reasonable. As we are a city centre hotel, it is impossible for us to have onsite parking. Our car park is just two streets behind the hotel, only a 2 minute walk from the front door and is complimentary... We stayed here for one night recently. The hotel is ideally situated in Waterford city and free parking is available in a multi storey close by.

The staff on reception were very friendly and welcoming. The room was fine, very dated and worn but we were not expecting much for the price and it was only a place to sleep.... Thank you for your review, we are delighted you found the staff so friendly and helpful. We do have newer rooms in block b which are available with a €20 upgrade and are more modern and spacious. Stayed here for 2 nights for me and my boyfriends anniversary the room was so tiny I've never seen a room so small ... although I can't fault the food and staff we're really nice ... no pubs local enough and the pub in hotel was for older people ... couldn't wait to return home ... I supppse I'm use... I am sorry to hear that you were not happy with your stay in Waterford recently. Waterford has a great variety of pubs and clubs for young people, we would have gladly recommended some to you if we had known you were looking. Ashleigh House Bed and Breakfast The Rhu Glenn Country Club Hotel We loved the space we had at Treacys! The hotel has little hallways that wind around but it all seems to work. Surprised to find they had a pool, but we didn't have time to use it. Noticed a wheel chair lift and a kids club. Only complaint was finding some tableware at dinner and breakfast that needed to run... Thank you for your feedback, it is very much appreciated. I'm very sorry to hear about your tableware was not polished properly, I have passed this onto the restaurant manager and we will ensure that this will not happen again. We hope that you will... We stayed here as part of a hen group and the hotel was perfect for us. Staff were so friendly and helpful, bar food was good and restaurant was delicious, no complaint from a group of 17! Breakfast could be a bit better but it did the job for those who made it up in time!!
