The Glam Décor Trend That Will Rock Your World We love the collected, layered look that incorporating natural objects into your home's styling provides. While plants and flowers are always welcome, rocks and minerals are where it's at as far as we're concerned. Specifically, we're into the undulating forms of cut geodes and agate and the shimmering texture of amethysts and calcite. Sporadically incorporated into vignettes and bookshelves, rocks and minerals like these are also popping up in lighting, furniture, and mirror designs. Initially, the room was going to be white but then she came across the pink grass cloth wallpaper from Ralph Lauren and the rest of the room followed suit. The rug is Madeline Weinrib and the chair was her son Mason’s. Jeff Andrews said: "I helped her select the fabulous and fun ceiling wallpaper, but other than that, the nursery was truly Kourtney’s labor of love—no pun intended!"

From the modern Oeuf Sparrow Crib and Serena and Lily’s pink Senegalese storage baskets to the pink Hermes baby blankets and Nurserywork’s White Tree Bookcase, the room is primarily a pink-and-white wonderland — except for the stunning Marjorie Skouras Design turquoise Empire chandelier. The children’s playroom is classic with a contemporary twist as the monochrome theme is infused with splashes of colour. The famous Kardashian says: "The surf boards are from the Teen Choice Awards. I just want the room to be a fun mess—my kids can do whatever they want, this is their room.” The walls were painted with chalkboard paint and magnetic paint underneath so the children can draw and hang things from the wall. The rug is from Ikea and big boxes help to keep the Lego organized. “Mason is obsessed with Lego and they're pretty much all over my house," jokes Kourtney. Jeff Andrews adds: "What better use of the Kardashian sisters’ Teen Choice Award surfboard than to put it on the ceiling of Kourtney’s playroom?

That and the chalkboard-paint wall along with all of Mason and Penelope’s color-coordinated toys make this a perfect kids’ environment—even the black and white striped rug is cool enough for a Kardashian, but fun enough for a kid." For Kourtney and Scotts firstborn child Mason, the room gives off a Retro Circus effect with several Anthropologies Savannah Story papier-mâché busts on the walls, a Melissa and Doug’s majestic giraffe and a show stopping aviator ball chair. The monochrome theme is carried through from the play room with a striped ceiling and the walls and furnishings decorated in more muted tones of grey. Inspired by Kourtney's interiors?
