chandelier taskers

A unique chandelier that is helping poorly children in the region was today switched on. The Heart of A Thousand Crystals has been created especially for intu Metrocentre’s Platinum Mall, with hundreds of crystals made into one huge, glittering heart to help raise money for Newcastle Freeman Hospital’s Children’s Heart Unit Fund (CHUF). Today the chandelier was revealed and switched on by six children whose lives have be saved by the hospital’s heart unit. Jack Sundin, seven, from Whitley Bay, was born with a serious heart defect and was delighted to be part of the special ceremony. His mum Lisa, 38, said: “This is something that is going to stay here forever and represents the children of the Freeman Hospital past, present and future. We have made a lot of friends through CHUF and this heart signifies to all the children that they are not on their own.” A thousand replica crystals have been created and are being sold for £20 each, with all of the money raised going to support CHUF’s Home from Home appeal.
The Home from Home will give parents or carers of children who have heart surgery at the Freeman somewhere to stay within the hospital’s grounds. It will have 18 en-suite bedrooms. CHUF parent trustee Ivan Hollingsworth, whose son Seb has received treatment at the Freeman, said: “It is so generous of the Metrocentre not only to choose our charity but to give all money raised to the charity. The heart will be lasting legacy in the Metrocentre, but more importantly is that the money raised from it will go to the Freeman’s Home from Home transplant flat.” The aim of the chandelier is to raise more than £20,000 for the charity, it is believed that as much as £16,000 has been generated since the crystals went on sale. Karen Carr, regional marketing manager at intu Metrocentre said: “We wanted to give our shoppers something back to thank them for all their support over the years. This heart has given them the chance to own a piece of the centre and help a worthwhile charity.
We are so grateful to the children of CHUF for coming along to add the sparkle to our crystal heart.” The hearts can be purchased at customer service desks around the Metrocentre.chandeliers mumbai lohar chawlLAS VEGAS — Collections developed by A.R.T., Century, Bernhardt and Hooker were named finalists today in the major collections category for the 2015 Pinnacle Awards.chandelier cso plastique They headed the list of 64 finalists in 16 categories that were announced at a press conference at the Las Vegas Market.waterford chandelier parts uk The 2015 Pinnacle Awards banquet will be held Monday, Oct. 19 in the IHFC Ballroom during the High Point Market.
