What a beautiful notion.

Now, with this December opening of the new Atlantic by Giardino — as the name suggests, the Giardino Group now takes over the reins — the Atlantis has added another feather to its cap, roping in Swiss luxury watch brand Hublot to co-create an exclusive suite within the glamorous storied site.This is Hublot's first collaboration with a hotelier — a natural partnership that Philippe Frutiger, CEO of the Giardino Group, notes, is built on the foundation of some rather fundamental things that both brands believe in: "innovation, quality and low-key luxury”.As Hublot CEO Ricardo Guadalupe put it so succinctly, “Luxury is... about unique experiences", while acknowledging that the 68 square meter suite revolving around the world of Hublot, was previously untrodden territory for Hublot. "Interpreting the Hublot Art of Fusion concept in a hotel suite by using a mix of materials is completely new to us. The customer will enjoy a unique luxury experience, where brand design meets hotel design.”

A 1.2 meter-wide 'chronograph chandelier' — if one can imagine it — is the centerpiece of the living room that also goes double duty as a lighting feature. Then, neon Big Bang pop art pieces are pinned up just about everywhere in the suite. Light, mirrors and colors converge in a perpetual dance.Balance prevails throughout the suite — an idea that is explored through the configuration of the hotel suite and strategic placement of the objects and furnishings within. Hublot also took a leaf from its boutique stores for its suite interiors with luxurious fittings and textures that convey multiple notes of sleek hedonism; custom furniture by Italian manufacturer Molteni, not unlike those to be found in Hublot boutiques, are also here.
