We held our daughter's wedding reception in the Vanderbilt room. The space was perfect for our 200 guests with plenty of mingling room. They have been undergoing some changes recently and the manager Didier personally saw that our needs were met. And met they were if not exceeded. All the staff we encountered the weekend we were there was just... Went to a wedding in Rockford, they chose cliffbreakers as their hotel..mostly because they were SUPPOSED to have provided a shuttle from hotel to venue and then from venue back to hotel at the end of night. Well that never happened. No shuttle services they said. Got to the hotel after the wedding and there was no one at the... Travelers are raving about these Rockford hotels Red Roof Inn Rockford Fairfield Inn & Suites Rockford Extended Stay America - Rockford - State Street The hotel is a short drive from I-39 and worth it. Beautiful view of river (we were upgraded) from our room. The bed was clean and comfortable.

There was a massage chair in the room. The bathroom had plenty of counter space and nice products. The lobby is grand--like a European castle. If I could I would take away half... We attended a weekend dance workshop with over 50 other dancers. After spending many hours each day dancing, we needed a large, clean and comfortable room, and a LOT of food. Our room had impressive furnishings (the first time I have ever had a chandelier over my bed!) which was in reasonable shape, but there were also plenty of examples of uncompleted/deferred repairs to be found all over. When I checked in I was given a room in the basement and it definitely felt like I was in a basement with low ceilings and window that I could not see out of. There are parts of the carpet that are cut away revealing the cement floor underneath. I'm disappointed to hear about your experience. We strive for complete guest satisfaction and I am sorry we missed the mark with you. I am happy to announce full renovations beginning in the winter.
