She took us around and was explaining very quickly what was what. The tour took ten minutes. We have never had an experience like it. She explained quickly as she walked so most of us couldn't even hear what she said. We complained and were told that they were having to do two tours in 60 mins instead of 30 min per tour. She had no answer for the fact we only had 10 mins. 105 reviews sorted by: Not only is this palace and the church on the square nice to see, for us it is most of all the absolute positive vibe that stands out in Koper. We have returned there for several times now and each time it feels more like home...Wander through the small streets. It is a small city center and you will not get lost. Don't take a map but just cruise around the old town and soke up the vibe. Sit down at one of the lovely cafes for a drink and a bite and enjoy!!!!Booked a tour around the palace. Lovely beams and chandeliers. The room where the council meets is worth the visit alone. Make sure that you take a look out of the window for great views of the town.
Beautiful architecture, made in a true Venetian style, all the way to the lion of St. Mark's. Obvious symbol of the long-lasting Venetian presence in the region. Historical building with a rich history from the 13th until the 17th century. Very small town, however it has a beautiful central square! darc is a dedicated international magazine focused on decorative lighting design in architecture. I loved the train rides in to and out of the caves. Our tour guide inside the caves was interesting and lively, which made it all the more enjoyable. If you're in or around Ljubljana, then you really do have to go and see this place. This was a fun family outing. The cave train is reasonably priced, we payed 18 euro per adult for the train as well as admission into an adjoining cave that housed several aquariums with cave creatures. The tour guides spoke good English and were very knowledgeable about the geology and the history of human activity within the cave. We would recommend this trip to others visiting the area. Truly an amazing experience in this beautiful cave. Definitelly a place to visit. Don't forget your coat...it gets quite cold down there! (if you do you can buy one) Some of Europes oldest cave networks. You travel on a train for 2kms into the cave. Temperature in summer is a constant 10 degrees inside. Deepest part of cave 150m. The cave itself is amazing.
