Didn't try Restaurant this time but will next time (and may stay at Hotel too) Don Carlos is an elegant, old -world style Milan restaurant. We enjoyed it immensely. The interior is charming and the location, thirty steps in from such a busy street, is just the beginning of the serenity that defines dinner here. Don Carlos is located in the Hotel de Milano, where Guiseppe Verdi used to stay and passed away. The restaurant is very nice and elegant, and the service is excellent. We had some Terrine de Foie Gras, roasted octopus, and a Rissotto with bone marrow, all very good!!! As main entrees we had the duck magret, a steak, the suckling... Boy did we hit the right spot!! Other TA reviews are misleading, this place is very enjoyable and very well served by the staff. And the food is awesome! The bread is a tradition here and its fresh, crispy and worth it, but be careful though, you don't want... Picked this hotel because of its close proximity to all the fancy stores and a short walk from both classic sights and the cool places. Metro and tram is just around the corner, along with every thing else really. The hotel is beautiful with a luxurious and abundant use of marble, brass and leather. The service is good and the... Stayed 2 nights in July - I believe the bulding had been old apartments and its trnsformation into a terrific hotel has been cleverly done. The rooms have gorgeous beds, every amenity one could need, excellent breakfast in quiet courtyard, helpful staff and an easy walk into the centre. Couldn't have been better! Had a great stay, the design of the hotel was spectacular, location was great, the food excellent (especially breakfast) service fantastic and the beds were top notch quality!

Very silent room, yet near the city center! Great service (even arranged tickets for an AC Milan match), perfect location, lovely rooms, and the garden was a very pleasant place for breakfast. Stayed 5 days, would definitely return both for business or pleasure. Wifi worked perfectly too. I recently spent three nights in Mikan at the hotel Senato. I can't say enough good things about it. The rooms were modern and spacious. The Wi-Fi worked well. The morning breakfast buffet was incredibly good. And most of all, the staff was extremely gracious and helpful. I can't wait to return there on my next trip... We stayed here just as they opened in 2015 and quickly reserved when we realized we would be back in 2016. Same great location, same clean and comfortable room. Only issue was some leaking from the a/c on the floor. The staff are nice and helpful and not overbearing which I appreciate it. Great experience in this new buitl Hotel in via Senato. Located in the heart of Milan, it offers very nice and spacious rooms with great design, very modern, and a super breakfast.

Super helpful staff and i would strongly recommend it. Our new favorite spot in Milano-- the design is chic and elegant, the service is great, the rooms are comfortable and quiet. And you can't beat the dining room space, including an outdoor terrace, for the complimentary breakfast. All this in one of the most central locations in the city. The location is fantastic, a couple of minutes walk from the hotel is Milan's best shopping. We were in late and out out early the following morning so we weren't looking for anything extravagant. The rooms were larger and sunnier than we expected. We loved the modern design and the bathroom were lovely. We didn't eat here so I can't... I stayed here for only one night as a last minute weekend get away and it was amazing! I had a terrace room with a private deck. The hotel was super clean, the staff was welcoming and helpful and the restaurant was great for lunch. I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone!
