We visited this cafe on the way to Phillip Island, after reading a few reviews on Trip Advisor.

What a terrible mistake! The service was very friendly, but other than that, the food was awful! almost everything was burnt! I've attached pictures so you can see for yourself. Burnt bacon, my burnt steak sandwich. everything had a bitter taste due... We had a nice quiet lunch. The service and greeting we received from the male, who I assume owns the place, was lovely. Very friendly and inviting even though they were busy. The food and coffee was enjoyable. Would go back 👌 Unique little cafe with very pleasant atmosphere thanks to friendly staff & neat tunes. Kept it basic & ordered lasagna & chips from the menu which had many good choices. Lasagna was homemade but my guess would be I got it on it's second possibly third day but it was still delicious! Lemon slice I had was also homemade &... We dropped by here for lunch on the way to pick up my son who was in Scout Camp. The place was a nice find. Staff were nice. I like the 80's music. Place was clean. Had their burger for lunch and that was good and filling. S

o all in all, it was a good stop for lunch so if... Highly recommend this cafe great service excellent food and fantastic prices . Menu for everyone including the kiddies Visited this little restaurant with family. Quirky with a varied menu of uncomplicated fare. Even got a range of home wares if you're that way inclined. Staff were excellent, friendly, pleasant, tolerant of the small child in our group and affording of the time to assist us in our menu choices. Food was of good quality, ample serves and very... Food was absolutely yummy, great range of homewares at cheap prices and I highly recommend a visit :) :) :) :) had pre booked a table for 12. Warm carpeted café. Devonshire Teas for all. Fun relaxed atmosphere with very good service and yummy scones jame n cream !!! An oasis in a town that was very quiet for a mid Sunday winters morning. Sensational pancakes and coffee. I come for the food but stay for the awesome 80's music. G What a fantastic little Motel this is in a wonderful little town.

Everyone was so friendly and accommodating. I should actually keep it a secret because it is small and I imagine gets booked out regularly. We spent one night at Koo Wee Rup Motel. The rooms were very well appointed, quite spacious, meticulously clean and very warm. It was good value for money. The service was very friendly and the motel was very well positioned. We would stay again if we were in the area. My experience with Koo Wee Motel was during the 2014 MotoGP weekend at Phillip Island, I booked last minute and was able to secure a room for a reasonable price. Yes I know it's not the closest place to PI but with adaptive cruise control in the car, you can just set the speed and enjoy the drive from Koo... Only twenty or so minutes from Pakenham with its continual nightly highway noise. We discovered and have used this gem of a motel over many years and have found it always quiet, spotlessly clean with comfortable beds.. A fridge and microwave is available as is air-con/heating and crockery - we BYO meals or shop at the Big W opposite.

This motel is a great place to stay very clean comfortable beds big bathroom/shower very friendly owners. I stay here when working in the area, right in the heart of town with plenty of places to eat, the owners make you feel very welcome, I would definitely recommend this place to my friends Seriously, did I stay at the same place as the people who gave this motel such positive reviews? The room was okay, but face it - very basic for the price and the location of the town doesn't exactly support the tarrif. I have paid$20 more for a nicer room in the middle of Canberra! I also found the staff... After a bad experience at a hotel near the airport this was a breath of fresh air. It was everything you expect from a country motel - clean, modern and comfortable. Breakfast wasn't available but owners very helpful with details of a local cafe. Stayed here overnight while visiting family in country Victoria. The room: Like a lot of country motels not on any particular tourist belt this was a very basic room - but it was clean and tidy - and for $99 was not overpriced.
